How do I identify my video card or sound card on my computer?
Answer
To find the names of your video card and sound card on any Windows Operating System:
- Press the WINDOWS key to open the Run or Search edit box.
- Type dxdiag and then press ENTER.
- Select the Yes button.
- Select the Display tab or Sound tab.
- The card type and driver versions will be displayed on the screen.
What is "dxdiag'?
Dxdiag is Microsoft's multimedia test program, which will identify
your graphics card or chip set.
