Short Description
Problem
During the Network Authorization Utilities 7 installation, it processes the Sentinel RMS License Manager component. Normally, the installation is not blocked by other installed versions of the Sentinel RMS License Manager on the system.
But if Network Authorization Utilities 7 was uninstalled and then reinstalled, and any version lower than Sentinel RMS License Manager 9.2.1 is on the system, then the following messages will appear during setup:
“You already have the latest version of Sentinel RMS License Manager installed on the system. The setup will terminate.”
“The Wizard was interrupted before Sentinel RMS License Manager 9.2.1 could be completely installed. Your system has not been modified. To install this program at a later time, please run the installation again.”
“The Network Authorization Utilities install has been cancelled.”
Solution
Even though the message indicates that Sentinel RMS License Manager 9.2.1 is already installed, the issue is actually with an earlier version of the software, reporting itself as 9.2.1. To correct this:
- In Control Panel, open Programs and Features or Add or Remove Programs.
- Either repair or uninstall the version of Sentinel RMS License Manager that is earlier than 9.2.1.
- Try the Network Authorization Utilities 7 installation once again.
The setup should complete this time.
