Nov 1: JAWS Command: Move To the Next Inconsistency in the Text Analyzer

ALT+WINDOWS+I	ALT+WINDOWS+I	Moves the cursor to the next inconsistency found by Text Analyzer and announces or indicates the type of inconsistency found. Inconsistencies are common typing mistakes like runs of spaces or extra punctuation.

CAPS LOCK+ALT+K	Keyboard echo is a feature that lets you hear characters, words, or both as you type. Use this command to cycle through the available options.

Nov 3: JAWS Command: Say font

Desktop Keystroke	Laptop Keystroke	Description
INSERT+F	CAPS LOCK+F	Says the font style name and character size. Also speaks the attributes such as bold, underline, and italics. Hold down the INSERT key and press F twice quickly to virtualize this information in the JAWS Virtual Viewer where you can read it with your arrow keys. Press ESC to exit the Virtual Viewer.

Nov 4: ZoomText Command: Change Zoom Level

Increase Magnification	CAPS LOCK+UP ARROW	When you start ZoomText for the first time, it magnifies the entire screen at 2x magnification. Magnification values range from 1.0x to 60x with incremental steps between 1.0x and 5.0x. Using the keystroke to zoom in increases the magnification level.
Decrease Magnification	CAPS LOCK+DOWN ARROW	When you start ZoomText for the first time, it magnifies the entire screen at 2x magnification. Magnification values range from 1.0x to 60x with incremental steps between 1.0x and 5.0x. Using the keystroke to zoom out decreases the magnification level.

Nov 5: JAWS Command: Virtualize Control

INSERT+SHIFT+V	CAPS LOCK+SHIFT+V	This keystroke displays the text of the current control in the Virtual Viewer. You can then select the text and copy and paste it into another application, such as an e-mail message. Press ESC to close the Virtual Viewer.

This information is placed in the JAWS Virtual Viewer where you can read it using standard navigation commands or copy it to the clipboard. If a link has focus, its source URL will be shown so you can responsibly manage possible phishing links in suspicious emails. Press ESC to close the Virtual Viewer. Use this command frequently when learning windows.

Nov 8: ZoomText Command: Toggle the Zoom to 1x magnification

Toggle the Zoom to 1x magnification	CAPS LOCK+ENTER	The Zoom to 1x feature allows you to switch between your current magnification level and 1x, which is the size of the screen content when unmagnified. When you Zoom to 1x, all other magnifier and reader features of ZoomText remain active so you can still use them even while the screen is unmagnified. For example, if your magnification level is 3x, pressing this command once will switch to 1x, and pressing it again, will switch back to 3x. This is a handy way of comparing how much of the display you can actually see when it is magnified.

First, you no longer have the distraction of leaving your current app to find the ZoomText or Fusion toolbar to perform an action and then returning to and trying to find your previous place in the app. Second, you do not have to memorize keystrokes for all the different things that you can do with ZoomText and Fusion.

Each of these verbosity levels can be fully customized according to your personal needs. Press CAPS LOCK+ALT+B to cycle through the three verbosity levels.

Nov 15: JAWS Command: Access Speech History

INSERT+SPACE, then H	CAPS LOCK+SPACE, then H	Speech History enables you to review previous announcements spoken by JAWS. Use this command to open a Results Viewer window containing up to the last 500 announcements spoken by the synthesizer. When the Speech History window opens, you are placed on the line containing the most recent announcement. You can press INSERT+SPACE, followed by CTRL+H in desktop keyboard layout, or CAPS LOCK+SPACE, followed by CTRL+H in laptop keyboard layout to copy the entire Speech History to the Windows Clipboard for pasting into another application such as a Word document or email message. To clear the history, in desktop keyboard layout, press INSERT+SPACE, followed by SHIFT+H. In laptop keyboard layout, press CAPS LOCK+SPACE, followed by SHIFT+H. Press ESC to close the Speech History Results Viewer window.

Before joining a video call, you want to make sure your setup is right and the camera is correctly focused on you. The new Face in View feature helps with this by alerting you to key visual details like: knowing whether your face is centered in the view, whether you are looking directly at the camera, If the lighting is adequate, and if there are additional items in the view. This command toggles Face in View on/off. Once you have entered the Face in View layer by pressing INSERT+SPACE, F in desktop layout or CAPS LOCK+SPACE, F in laptop layout, press ? (question mark) for a list of all available Face in View commands

This feature removes all formatting from text that you copy, Making it useful in programs like Microsoft Word when you do not want to include styles, numbering, and other formatting information when pasting text into a document. Using a Copy To Clipboard command instead of an Append To Clipboard command erases any previous clipboard content and replaces it with the new content.

Nov 30: ZoomText Command: Use Freeze View

Use Freeze View	CAPS LOCK+N: Creates a Freeze View window. CAPS LOCK+CTRL+x: Toggles in or out of a Freeze View window. The value “x” is a number—1, 2, 3, or 4—that represents which Freeze View window you are entering or leaving.	With this feature, you can draw a window around the area of the screen that you want to monitor. After you make your selection, the Freeze View displays on top of the full zoom window, which continues to operate normally. The Clock and Start menu are on opposite sides of the screen, for example, so you can select one as a Freeze View and see both simultaneously. The magnification level of the Freeze View is not affected by changes to the full zoom window. You can create up to four Freeze Views and place them anywhere on the screen. CAPS LOCK+A Adjusts the size and position of a Freeze View window. ESC Closes the Freeze View tool.
