Answer
Last updated in October 2019.
In current releases of JAWS and Fusion, all Eloquence voices are included, and are in the following languages:
- American English
- British English
- Castilian Spanish
- Latin American Spanish
- French
- French Canadian
- German
- Italian
- Brazilian Portuguese
- Finnish
In addition to Eloquence, we offer all customers of JAWS, Fusion, and ZoomText, access to all of the Nuance Vocalizer Expressive voices and languages. For customers installing in operating systems other than English, they will generally get one or more of the Vocalizer Expressive voices installed as their default synthesizer automatically. However, all customers can easily sample, install and use any of the voices through the menu system.
For customers using JAWS, do the following:
Go to the Options Menu, choose Voices, and then choose Add/Remove Voices.
In this dialog, provided you are connected to the internet, you have direct access to sample, install, or remove as many voices from the various languages available that you choose. Once you have installed all the voices you would like, you will be able to switch to these via the Select a Voice Profile Dialog using the command INSERT + CTRL + S. You can also customize your voice profiles using the Voice Adjustment Dialog found in the Options menu under Voices.
For Fusion or ZoomText customers<>/strong, you can access this same dialog and options from the Voice menu on the user iterface. Select Add/Remove Voices to tailor your voice options. Or choose Settings to change your default voice.
