By the end of this lesson you will understand, be able to discuss, and perform the following tasks related to Microsoft® PowerPoint® 2016 with JAWS:

  • Open PowerPoint and create a title slide.
  • The Office 2016 title bar
  • The PowerPoint 2016 window
  • Typing text in the title slide
  • Set a background color for all slides.
  • Add an image as a background to the title slide so that it covers the whole slide.
  • Use the design tab of the ribbon to insert the picture and cover the entire slide.
  • Create a second slide with a title, a text object on the left, and one content object placeholder on the right for an image.
  • Add an icon to play a sound.
