27, 2007) Once again this year, Freedom Scientific is proud to be a
sponsor and exhibitor at the National Federation of the Blind’s
National Convention and at the American Council of the Blind’s
National Convention. Throughout these conventions, Freedom
Scientific’s staff will be on hand to offer product demonstrations,
free training, technical service, on-site repairs, and to conduct drawings
for free Freedom Scientific products.
The ABC Convention
is being held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, 1300 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis,
MN 55403. Please plan to visit Freedom Scientific at booth
numbers 1 through 4.
The PAC Mate training will be held in one of the Hyatt Regency suites. The room location will be made available on-site at the Freedom Scientific booth.
The NFB Convention will be held at the Marriott Marquis, 265 Peachtree
Center Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30303. Please plan to visit Freedom Scientific
at booth numbers 62 through 64 and 51 through 57, located in the A-Square.

JAWS® for Windows® 8.0 and Microsoft Vista™
Presenter: Eric Damery
Learn all about the newly-released JAWS 8.0 version, and get the
details on Window Vista™, the new Microsoft operating system.
Eric will
take you through all of the differences between Windows Vista and
Windows XP with JAWS and even introduce you to the new Microsoft
Office 2007 applications. You will also hear all about the RealSpeak™ Solo
Synthesizer from Nuance® that is now included with JAWS and the
various options you have to set it up for your Say All Voice. As
always, bring your questions; Eric has answers!

hold drawings throughout the conventions for Freedom Scientific products,
including for PAC Mate accessible Pocket PCs; copies of FSReader — which
provides unequaled flexibility in accessible reading navigation;
copies of MAGic® Pro Scripting Edition — the world’s
first screen magnification software that allows users to write their
own scripts to modify its operation in any application; and OpenBook™ — which
enables users to convert printed documents or graphic-based text
into an electronic text format.

Braille cell repairs (individual or complete displays) will not be done at the conventions.
Please note: Not all product repairs will be completed on site. Some repairs may require the product to be taken in for service and shipped back to the owner. Customers will be asked to back up their own files prior to service repairs.
