Short Description:

Canceling Adjusting Lamp during scan will cause TestTalker to crash.

Problem:

Pressing Scan with certain scanners results in a dialog message that says, "Adjusting lamp. Please keep the document cover closed." If you press Cancel in this dialog, TestTalker will cease to function or crash.

Solution:

If TestTalker has crashed, you must go into the Windows Task Manager using Ctrl+Alt+Delete, and press the End Task button for the TestTalker application.

If, during a scan, you need to cancel your scan, wait until the Adjusting Lamp message disappears and then press "Cancel Scan" from the TestTalker Scanning pop-up window.
