Scanners Settings File Download

New scanners are introduced to the market all the time. Sometimes
a scanner will be introduced after the latest release of OpenBook.
Although Freedom Scientific will continue to test these new scanners,
the consumer's copy of the latest release of OpenBook will still be unaware
of its presence. To assist in that area, we are now making updated
versions of twainscn.ini
available for users to download. This file should never be modified.
It contains a pseudo list of all scanners that were tested for use with
OpenBook. More importantly, this file will preset the optimal settings,
if any, that OpenBook needs enabled in order for each scanner to perform
at its best. Although it is not necessary, downloading this file,
and saving it to OpenBook's installation directory will ensure that the
most optimal settings are set for your specific scanner, assuming that
it has been tested by Freedom Scientific.
If your scanner has been tested, it's performance results will be posted
on the Scanner
