MAGic USB Thumb Drive Software Downloads The following files allow you to run MAGic from a USB thumb drive. You do not need to install JAWS/MAGic Video Intercept on a computer that already has JAWS or MAGic installed. Note: Extracting or copying the MAGic program files to your thumb drive may take up to five minutes if you have a USB 2.0 port and compatible USB 2.0 thumb drive. With USB 1.1 ports or USB 1.1 thumb drives, this process may take twice as long. MAGic 11.0 for USB Thumb Drives (15 MB) JAWS/MAGic Video Intercept (25 MB) Note: The MAGic 11.0 thumb drive release runs on Windows Vista, Windows XP, and Windows 2000. However, when using the thumb drive version on a Windows Vista computer, keep the following in mind. It is recommended that you disable User Account Control (UAC) by opening the Control Panel and selecting User Accounts. The thumb drive version works when UAC is enabled, but speech and tracking are limited for elevated programs. The Microsoft Ease of Access Center loads when you start the thumb drive release on a Windows Vista computer. Once MAGic is loaded you can close the Ease of Access Center window by clicking the Close button or pressing ALT+F4.
