PAC Mate Omni UK Keyboard Update Download
This file corrects a problem with the UK keyboard layout on the PAC Mate Omni in which the apostrophe key does not work properly when the PAC Mate Omni 6.0 Maintenance release (6.0.1019) is installed. Installing this file is only necessary if you updated to the PAC Mate Omni 6.0 Maintenance release and you regularly use the UK keyboard layout.
How Do I Install It?
- If you are currently using the UK Keyboard, you must open the Keyboard Settings dialog box and change the input language to American English in order for this update to install correctly.
- Save the OneInstaller.exe file to a folder that you can easily
remember on your computer. You might choose to save it on the desktop,
which is the Windows default.
- Make sure your PAC Mate Omni is connected to your computer and that an
ActiveSync connection (either Standard or Guest) is established.
- Locate the file and run it. If you are using Windows Vista™, you will receive a UserAccount Control dialog when you first run the installer. Select the Allow button or press ALT+A to continue with the installation. When the installation begins, Follow the prompts to install the UK keyboard update on your PAC
Mate Omni.
Note: If a clean reset is performed, this file must be reinstalled.
