The sections below include the new table layer keystrokes introduced in JAWS 13 as well as classic table keystrokes. You may use either or both with JAWS 13 or later. Classic table reading keystrokes should be used for JAWS 12 and earlier.
New beginning with JAWS version 13, table layer keystrokes offer a fast and convenient way to navigate tables. The table layer eliminates the need to hold down several keys at once to perform a table navigation command.
Below is a list of the layered keystrokes for table navigation. Press and release INSERT+SPACEBAR, followed by T to get to the table layer. Then press any of the following keystrokes.
NOTE: Table layer reading commands are not yet available in MAGic, unless you are using both JAWS and MAGic together. Use the classic table reading commands listed in the second table below if you are using MAGic alone.
