Short Description:

TestTalker can only be installed by a user with Administrative privileges.

Problem:

You must be logged in as a user with Administrative privileges before running the TestTalker installation. TestTalker will give you the option to switch to a user with Administrative privileges during the install, but this will cause problems. You may experience: PNSetup error, "AddPrinterDriver failed with error 5, please contact support@peernet.com." The install then completes, but the Virtual Printer does not work. It may also install the program only for the Administrative user and not for you (with no Virtual Printer installed), when selecting install "Only for me".

Solution:

If any of these problems occur or if you are experiencing an inability to use any of TestTalker's features and you installed TestTalker with a user other than one with Administrative privileges, you should completely remove TestTalker and reinstall as a user with Administrative privileges.
