Bulletin
Type: TSN Number: 13495
Date Posted: 02/24/2003
Product Name: TestTalker
Version: 1.0
Category: Printing
Short
Description:
TestTalker allows
you to place controls out of printing/reading range.
Problem:
When you place
controls (Multiple Choice, True/False, Fill-in, or Extended Answer),
outside the top and bottom page boundaries, TestTalker will not
print or read these controls. The top and bottom page boundaries
are not defined in TestTalker, so you can inadvertently place controls
there.
Another instance of the same problem: if a page of text is placed horizontally
on your scanner and TestTalker has to rotate the image to display the text
right side up, then you could place controls outside the right side barriers.
Solution:
When viewing
the text on the screen, notice where the top line of text starts
and where the bottom line of the text finishes. Try not to place
controls above the top text or below the bottom text on that page.
In the case where controls are missing on the right side of the
page, look for similar indicators of where the text ends on the
right side of the page.
