Short Description:

From mapped disk drive you must install TestTalker with "Only for me" option.

Problem:

When installing TestTalker from a mapped disk drive, you cannot use the installation option of "Anyone who uses this computer." If you install with this option, ViaVoice and the TestTalker Virtual Printer do not get installed. This means TestTalker will not speak correctly or at all and you will not be able to convert any documents to TestTalker format via the Virtual Printer.

Solution:

If this problem occurs, you must uninstall TestTalker and then re-install with the "Only for me" option from a mapped disk drive. Note that this only applies when installing from a mapped drive: If you are installing from a local or CD-ROM drive, You can install using any option with all OS's except Windows NT (see TNS number 14351 for more information about problems unique to Windows NT).
