Short Description:

On Windows 95/98/ME during the install a ViaVoice "TTS Setup failed" message may appear.

Problem:

During the install, at the point where TestTalker starts to install IBM ViaVoice, an error message pops up saying, "IBM ViaVoice Technology -ViaVoice TTS Setup failed to launch installation engine: Server execution failed OK." This message looks alarming, but it isn't. Just click OK and TestTalker will work fine with no speech problems. This error message may occur if ViaVoice has ever been installed on that computer before, such as if WYNN is installed on the system.

Solution:

Click "OK" on the Error Message and installation will continue normally, and TestTalker will work normally.
