Short Description:

Removing one version of TestTalker may break the file association on .ttk files

Problem:

If you have both TestTalker Teacher Edition and Student Edition installed on your computer, and you uninstall one of the programs, it may break the file association for .ttk (TestTalker format) files. You then will be unable to double-click on a .ttk file to open it from a file list in programs like Windows Explorer. The TestTalker icon may also vanish from file lists.

Solution:

You can still open .ttk files using File | Open in TestTalker. If you want to be able to open files by double-clicking on them in a file list, run Repair from the TestTalker CD for the edition (Teacher or Student) that is still installed.
