WYNN Tip: Scanning Clean-up Tips

In Text View, run Spell Check to catch random characters or
mis-recognized words.

Use Exact View to reference original text.

Make corrections in Text View.

Keep the link between Text View and Exact View by correcting parts of a word at a time until the entire word is corrected. If you delete an entire word in Text View, that will break the link between Text View and Exact View. That location in Exact View will no longer be spotlighted.

Use OCR Correction (Advanced menu) to catch repeated recognition errors.

Modify Scanning Contrast (Settings menu, Scanning Settings) for light text or dark paper.
