Products & Services: WYNN 5.10.101 Updater

WYNN 5.10.101 has many new features, plus wonderful new RealSpeak™ Solo voices from Nuance. WYNN 5.10.101 also includes support for Microsoft's new Windows Vista™ operating system. Customers who currently own WYNN 5.0 or WYNN 5.10 have two exciting options:

• Use the FREE UPDATER to download WYNN 5.10.101 with all the new features, but without any of the new voices, or...
• Purchase the full WYNN 5.10.101 upgrade with all the new features and the new voices.

To download the free updater, follow the instructions below. Note that there are separate updaters for the Network version and the standalone version of WYNN; it only works on computers that already have WYNN 5.0, and it does not include the new voices.

Updating from WYNN 5.0

You will find that the new version is full of exciting new features, including enhancements to the completely redesigned Web module that we released with WYNN 5.0.  The new Web module can highlight directly on a live Web page and then extract the highlighted text into a WYNN document with a click of a mouse.  Note that the updater does not include the new speech voices from Nuance (RealSpeak™ Solo and ETI-Eloquence™). Updating from WYNN 5.1

The update will allow WYNN to be used on a computer that is running Microsoft Windows Vista™.  That is the only change.  Therefore, if your WYNN users do not need access to WYNN on Windows Vista, you do not need to install this update.

Special Note for Network Customers

The Network updater is used to update WYNN's server components.  You can then install the updated client on any workstations that are running Windows Vista by re-running the setup.exe that is placed on the server.

Downloading the WYNN 5.10.101 Updater

The following describes how to download and run the WYNN 5.10.101 Updater. The Network updater is approximately 75 MB, and the standalone updater is approximately 50 MB, so you should only attempt to download the file if you have high-speed Internet access, such as a cable modem or DSL connection.

1. Select the following link to download the WYNN 5.10.101 standalone updater:

2. Save the file to a folder that you can easily remember on your computer. You might choose to save it on the desktop, which is the Windows default.
   
   
3. Locate the file, run the self-extracting executable, and follow the on-screen prompts.
   
   
4. When installation is complete, restart your computer before using WYNN 5.10.101.
