Freedom Scientific Announces New RUBY HD Handheld Video Magnifier

Freedom Scientific today announced a new version of its successful RUBY® handheld video magnifier, the RUBY HD. The new magnifier adds a high-definition camera and new easy-to-use features to the popular RUBY compact design to provide low vision users crystal-clear, high-contrast magnification up to 13x with no distortion.
With a 4.3-inch screen, 20 high-contrast color modes, Reading Line and Masks, Slide Show Mode, and Freeze Frame, the RUBY HD takes magnification to the next level for those who need help reading text and seeing details. Its streamlined design means it can slip comfortably into a pocket or purse, giving you easy access to photos, prescription labels, and much more.
