Enhancements in MAGic 11.0.1146 (October 2008)

The following reported items were addressed in this update. All enhancements since the initial public beta release are included in the update.

When running OpenBook 8 and MAGic 11 together, and speech is controlled by OpenBook, the Skim Reading function now works correctly when you press INSERT+CTRL+DOWN ARROW.

Users now receive a “No Image Available” message rather than just a black screen if camera is not turned on at startup.
Users can now open saved camera images with no camera attached.
Users can now apply markup (lines and masking) when viewing saved images with no camera attached.
Resolved “no camera image” issues reported in Windows Vista when MAGic is running on some computers.
Fixed video restart issue reported on some machines after capturing or freezing image.
Created more seamless user experience when deleting images (F12+DELETE) by automatically returning to the live camera image.
Image Settings Location preference is now honored when capturing images, even when opening images from other folders.
